Accessible garden

The brief was to turn a cluttered, unsafe and waterlogged sideway into an accessible, easy-maintenance garden. This path is the only access to the back garden, shed and greenhouse, so an all-weather route was important to the not-so-youthful owners. Water-butts were moved to the other side if the house. A raised bed and riven natural stone paving create a level non-slip walkway. The low maintenance planting has an evergreen backbone, year round flowers and plants tolerate the shade.
